I uge 27-34 byder Limfjordsmuseet på guidede sejlture på Frederik VII’s Kanal. Gå ombord i museets turbåd GREVINDE DANNER og sejl ud i historien på kanalen. På sejlturen gør vores guide jer klogere på Frederik VII’s Kanals tilblivelse og historie. Turen tager jer igennem et unikt kultur- og naturlandskab i læ af brinkerne og under broerne. I Lendrup lægger båden til ved Kanalbetjenthusene og på hjemturen runder vi Løgstør havn og oplever det historiske havnemiljø fra søsiden.

Guidet bustur - Gennem Limfjordslandet (Sydruten)

Tag med på en guidet bustur gennem det smukke fjordlandskab, hvor natur og historie går hånd i hånd. Undervejs fortæller vores guide om områdets dramatiske fortid og særlige natur. Turen går blandt andet forbi Aggersborg, Danmarks største vikingeborg, videre gennem landskabet omkring Vilsted Sø og forbi det historiske Vitskøl Kloster. Glæd dig til en oplevelsesrig - set fra bussens panoramavinduer - gennem Limfjordens natur, kultur og historie.

Guidet bustur - Fra fjorden til Æ Haw (Nordruten)

Join us on our new bus tour in 2026, driving from Limfjord to the North Sea through some of North Jutland's most magnificent landscapes. Along the way, our guide tells about the nature, bird life and history of the area. The tour goes through the unique nature area of Vejlere, Northern Europe's largest bird sanctuary, where fjords, meadows and reed forests form the setting for a rich wildlife. From here the walk continues towards Bulbjerg, Jutland's only bird mountain, where the steep cliff rises dramatically above the North Sea. An adventurous trip through magnificent nature — from the tranquil landscape of the Limfjord to the wild views of the North Sea.

About Limfjordsmuseet

The Limfjord Museum is a state-recognized museum specializing in the maritime cultural history of the Limfjord. The museum works with research, collection, registration, conservation and dissemination to ensure and illuminate the Limfjord's maritime heritage — from the oldest times to the present day.

Through exhibitions, activities, cruises and guided experiences, the museum conveys the history of people, nature, life and coastal culture around Limfjord. Limfjordsmuseet is an experience-based museum where guests are invited to get up close to history through sensual and interactive activities where you can see, touch, do and taste.

The museum is continuously working to develop new ways to bring cultural and natural heritage into play for citizens, guests and partners.
