On Thursday, October 29, at 19.00-21.00, we invite you to a whisky tasting in Baghuset/Snapseriet at Limfjordsmuseet.
The Limfjord has for centuries been a way out into the world. Sailors, ships and goods have moved between the fjord and distant ports — and this evening we are using the sea as a starting point for a completely different kind of journey.
The theme is “Out and sailing”, and with whiskey in the glass we take a stroll through Ireland, Scotland, the USA and Australia before heading back to Denmark and ending up in Thy.
The whisky-savvy helmsman of the evening is whisky maker Mathias De Giorgi Madsen, who guides us through five different whiskies and talks about the different whisky cultures and tastes along the way. Limfjordsmuseet provides the maritime setting and some snacks for the trip.
